Tory W. Moore, O.D.
Diplomate, American Board of Optometry
Born in Iowa and transplanted as a young child to Texas, Dr. Moore grew up in Dumas, graduating from Dumas High School in 1982. He received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Texas Tech University in 1986. He then received his doctorate in Optometry in 1990 from the University of Houston College of Optometry. After completing an internship at Sheppard Air Force Base hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas, he returned to Dumas to set up his practice, which is entering it’s 35th year in business.
Dr Moore is board certified by the American Board of Optometry, which is an elite group of optometrists, requiring more continuing education than standard every year. He belongs to the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. He is a member of Vision Source, the largest network of independent, private practice optometrists in the country. He serves as an administrator for the Texas Plains Area. He is a member and has served as president of the Panhandle Optometric Society as well. Dr. Moore is a former Demon and Dumas High School alumni, class of 1982. He has been active in the local community. He has served on the Dumas Education Foundation board of directors and served as president. He has served as president of the Dumas Noon Lions club as well as various other positions in that club. Dr. Moore served as president of the Dumas/Moore County Chamber of Commerce for two consecutive years. He was active in developing the baseball sports complex for Dumas as well as coaching Little League. Dr. Moore is an elder at Grace Thru Faith Fellowship in Dumas. His wife, Kaye, is a retired contract realtor besides being the greatest wife, mother and grandmother and best friend. They have two children, and nine wonderful grandchildren. Dr Moore is passionate about helping people to see and preserve their sight; he loves playing with his grandkids; reading; family genealogy research; traveling the world, especially Europe; trout fishing; hunting and he is an ardent supporter of our 2nd Amendment rights. He is a lifetime member of the NRA and Texas State Rifle Associations.
Kisika, Practice Administrator,
Certified Optician, A.B.O.C.
Kisika has 30 years of opticianry experience and is certified by the American Board of Opticianry for the last 22 years. She has been with our team for 21 years. She serves as our Practice Administrator and in charge of our on-site finishing lab. Kisika also one of our frame stylists to help you with your frame and lenses selection. She is married to Guy, who works for CP Energy. She enjoys volleyball (she played on the 1989 and 1990 Dumas 4-A State Championship teams), camping and spending time with her 5 children and helping coach their sports. Family is very important to her.
Dianna, Optician/Frame Stylist
Dianna is also one of our opticians to help you with your frame and lens selection. She has been with our team for 16 years. She has been married to Jimmy, who works at Fleet-care Services,for 41 years . They have two children and five grandchildren. She loves spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.
Monica, Optician /Frame Stylist
Monica is from Sunray and joined our team this year. She is one of our opticians who help you with your frames and lenses. she has lived in Sunray her whole life as it was the perfect place to raise her children. She has been married to Scotty for 25 years and he works for TXDOT. They have a blended family with 6 kids: 2 his, 2 hers and 2 God blessed them with. She also has 2 grandchildren that are the loves of her life. She enjoys reading, puzzles, and spending time with her family. She loves Jesus and lives a blessed life.
Selene, Para-optometric
Selene is a dedicated and skilled para-optometric, assisting Dr Moore and patients in the clinic area with 13 years experience in the optometric field. She has been on our team for 13 yrs. She has been married to Billy for 22 yrs & has 4 daughters. She enjoys time with her 4 year old grandson. She loves country life and spends her free time gardening, crafting, loves dancing and spending time with her family.
Leslie, Para-optometric
Leslie is another para-optometric, assisting Dr Moore and patients in the clinic area. She has been with our office for 2 years and as an Optometric Technician for 5 years. She enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family. She also enjoys comedy television and eating at Texas Roadhouse!
Yuri – Finance and Operations Manager
Yuri is our Finance and Operations Manager and has been with our team for 6 years. She has over 10 years’ experience in accounting. Yuri was born & raised in Perryton, TX. She graduated in 2009 and moved on to Amarillo, TX for the following 10 years. There she met her husband Jason and married in 2019. They wanted to start their family in a small town and Dumas seemed like the perfect spot. She is blessed with two smart and beautiful children. Outside of work she enjoys reading, playing Sudoku, skiing, camping and spending time with her family.
Celine – Lead Patient Care Coordinator
Celine has been with our team for 4 years and serves as our lead Patient Care Coordinator. She assists with patient payments, scheduling appointments and referrals as well as other patient needs. Celine was born in Dumas, Tx, but raised in many states across the United States. She is a mother of 3 beautiful children, 2 daughters and a son. Outside of work she enjoys reading, arts and crafts, and spending time with her children.
Saidee – Insurance Administrator
Saidee is our Insurance Administrator and has been with our office for 5 years. She was born and raised in Dumas. She is married to Shawn, who works at Scout Energy. They have two daughters and two sons. She enjoys going to the lake, camping and spending time with family.
Natalie- Front Desk Concierge
Natalie just recently joined our team. She assists with welcoming you as you enter the office, with patient payments, scheduling appointments, as well as other patient needs. Natalie was born and raised in Dumas, Texas. She is the youngest of 3 siblings to the best Mom and Dad in the world. She is a mother to a beautiful girl, and an avid animal lover. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her daughter, her significant other, her family, and going to church.
